James 4-6:
4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
7Hear my voice when I call, LORD; be merciful to me and answer me. 8My heart says of you, "Seek his face" Your face, LORD, I will seek. 9Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior. 10Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me. 11Teach me your way, LORD; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors. 12Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, spouting malicious accusations. 13I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 14Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.
Galatians 5:22-25

Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they owned. Proverbs 8:32-34
“Now therefore, O sons, listen to me, For blessed are they who keep my ways.
Heed instruction and be wise, And do not neglect it.
Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at my doorposts.”
Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.
Psalm 119 90-93
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;
Phillippians 3:10
